Resumen
La construcción del vehículo monoplaza Formula student SAE, nace como una iniciativa de todo este equipo de estudiantes, como una manera de hacer algo diferente en la ciudad a nivel de educación secundaria ya que estos temas se tratan únicamente a nivel superior.
Aparte de ser los pioneros, queremos también recuperar la imagen y el prestigio que tenía nuestra Institución en el área de la mecánica automotriz, otra muy reconocida en la comunidad cuencana.
La realización de este proyecto busca generar las siguientes fortalezas:
- Incremento de conocimientos: Los estudiantes tendrán conocimientos elevados de ingeniería automotriz en el ámbito de diseño y construcción.
- Uso de herramientas especializadas: Los estudiantes aprenderán a utilizar SolidWorks, un software de diseño Premium que les otorgará mayores competencias en su hoja de vida.
- Base de datos: El colegio tendrá por primera vez información relevante de cómo se diseñó y construyó el vehículo para futuros Formula SAE.
- Motivación: Los estudiantes al ver el producto final optaran por seguir la carrera viendo que mecánica automotriz es una carrera prometedora y extraordinaria.
- Procesos de manufactura: Los estudiantes aprenderán metodologías de corte y soldadura avanzados.
- Trabajo en equipo: Los estudiantes fortalecerán la disciplina de trabajar en equipo misma que lleva a tener una mejora continua en su vida profesional.

Abstract
The construction of the Formula Student SAE single-seater vehicle arises as an initiative by this team of students as a way to do something different at the secondary education level in the city, since these topics are typically addressed only at the higher education level.
Besides being pioneers, we also aim to recover the image and prestige that our institution once held in the field of automotive mechanics, which is well recognized in the Cuenca community.
This project seeks to generate the following strengths:
- Knowledge Increase: Students will gain advanced knowledge of automotive engineering in design and construction.
- Use of Specialized Tools: Students will learn to use SolidWorks, a premium design software that will enhance their skills and strengthen their resumes.
- Database: For the first time, the school will have relevant information on how the vehicle was designed and built for future Formula SAE projects.
- Motivation: Seeing the final product will encourage students to pursue a career in automotive mechanics, recognizing it as a promising and extraordinary field.
- Manufacturing Processes: Students will learn advanced cutting and welding methodologies.
- Teamwork: Students will strengthen their discipline in teamwork, which contributes to continuous improvement in their professional lives.
