Resumen
La importancia de la investigación sobre el cambio climático se enfoca principalmente en observar, analizar y comprender las causas, las consecuencias y las posibles soluciones que se pueden dar a este problema actual que está acabando lentamente con la vida del planeta Tierra. La investigación es de tipo analítica y descriptiva con la consulta de recursos de internet en donde se obtiene la información sobre el cambio climático, con sus causas y sus consecuencias para el ambiente, y las posibles soluciones; se determina el cambio climático que, tiene severos efectos en el medio ambiente al igual que en la vida animal, que es provocado por el drástico aumento de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) que se encuentran a nivel de la atmósfera, tales como el dióxido de carbono (CO2), el metano (CH4), que son producidos por las actividades humanas, que han incrementado el uso de combustible fósil, la deforestación, la industrialización, el transporte, entre otros. Estos efectos son el motivo por el cual se evidencia considerables cambios en el clima a nivel mundial, que afecta la vida de los seres vivos. Esta alteración del clima tiene como consecuencia las inundaciones en lugares cercanos al mar debido al derretimiento del hielo glacial de los polos, sequías en algunas partes del mundo, donde el agua no existe y otros tipos de desastres naturales.

Abstract
The importance of research on climate change focuses mainly on observing, analyzing, and understanding the causes, consequences, and possible solutions to this current problem that is slowly destroying life on planet Earth. The research is analytical and descriptive, using online resources to gather information about climate change, its causes, consequences for the environment, and possible solutions. It is determined that climate change has severe effects on the environment as well as animal life, caused by the drastic increase of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4), which are produced by human activities that have increased the use of fossil fuels, deforestation, industrialization, transportation, among others. These effects are the reason for considerable changes in the global climate, which impact the lives of living beings. This alteration of the climate results in floods in coastal areas due to the melting of polar glaciers, droughts in some parts of the world where water is scarce, and other types of natural disasters.
