La vida de Corea del Norte y Corea del Sur
Life in North Korea and South Korea

Resumen
Este artículo tiene como objetivo informar sobre las diferencias de vida en un país que actualmente está dividido debido a una guerra que ocurrió hace varios años y que causó diversos conflictos y problemas a sus habitantes.
Corea fue dividida en 1945, y la guerra entre los dos lados comenzó el 25 de junio de 1950, resultando en millones de muertes en ambas partes. Aunque la guerra concluyó el 27 de julio de 1953 con la firma de un acuerdo de armisticio, no se estableció un tratado definitivo de paz. Aunque los combates cesaron, la guerra técnicamente persiste, ya que continúa influyendo en cuestiones geopolíticas.
Otro punto a destacar es que en las dos partes del país se han desarrollado dos sistemas diferentes. En el sur, se ha establecido un sistema capitalista bajo una dictadura militar que acoge favorablemente al capital extranjero, y cuyo comercio exterior representa un porcentaje elevado de su Producto Nacional Bruto (PNB).
Por otro lado, en el norte existe un régimen que se autodenomina socialista y ha llevado a cabo reformas sociales y económicas radicales, aunque hasta hace poco tiempo, su comercio exterior representaba un porcentaje muy bajo respecto a su PNB. Estas diferencias
en los sistemas han contribuido a generar disparidades en las condiciones de vida en cada territorio.

Abstract
This article aims to inform about the differences in life between two countries that are currently divided due to a war that happened years ago, causing numerous conflicts and problems for their populations.
Korea was divided in 1945, and the war between the two sides began on June 25, 1950. This war resulted in millions of deaths on both sides. It ended on July 27, 1953, when an armistice agreement was signed, but not a definitive peace treaty. The fighting ceased, but the war did not technically end, as it continues to influence geopolitical issues.
Another point is that two different systems have developed in the two parts of the country. In the south, there is a capitalist system under a military dictatorship that welcomes foreign capital and whose foreign trade represents a high percentage of its GNP (Gross National Product).
On the other hand, in the north, there is a regime that declares itself socialist, has implemented radical social and economic reforms, and whose foreign trade represented, until recently, a very low percentage of its GNP. This has generated differences in life in each territory, whether due to the system they have or the popularity differences they currently face.
