Resumen
Este trabajo se plantea como objetivo conocer los avances científicos en torno a la biotecnología. Se lo hará a través de una revisión bibliográfica de investigaciones que permitan determinar el valor de la tecnología en la aplicación médica. Para ello, se utiliza una metodología descriptiva que analiza los elementos inmersos en la práctica médica y la utilización de la tecnología para la consecución de una medicina de calidad. Los resultados muestran que en el campo de la biomedicina se están logrando avances significativos, que deben acompañarse de la preparación de las personas en este campo. Esto permitirá crear espacios donde el ser humano y la máquina generen sinergias que favorezcan la detección y el tratamiento de enfermedades. Se concluye que el campo de la biomedicina debe ser explorado con mayor profundidad, a través de un manejo responsable y dinámico de los medios tecnológicos, que pueden y deben estar al servicio de las personas.

Abstract
This paper aims to explore scientific advances in biotechnology. This will be done through a literature review of research that helps determine the value of technology in medical applications. A descriptive methodology is used to analyze the elements involved in medical practice and the use of technology to achieve quality healthcare. The results show significant progress in the field of biomedicine, which must be accompanied by the training of professionals in this area. This will allow the creation of spaces where humans and machines generate synergies that favor disease detection and treatment. It is concluded that the field of biomedicine should be explored more deeply through responsible and dynamic management of technological tools, which can and should serve people.
