El propóleo en la pandemia de la COVID-19
Propolis in the Covid-19 pandemic

Resumen
Como es conocido, el mundo entero está en una grave situación debido a la pandemia generada por la COVID-19. Hay la necesidad de buscar nuevas alternativas de prevención, como por ejemplo, el propóleo, una sustancia fabricada por las abejas, la cual podría ser muy eficiente, por ser un producto natural. Se conoce de algunas contraindicaciones por su compuesto, el cual podría llegar a ser un tanto malo para personas embarazadas o para los niños menores de dos años, según investigaciones realizadas por científicos y universidades. Se realizó una encuesta a padres de familia de la Unidad Educativa Agronómico Salesiano. La misma que se realizó con el fin de poder tener un antecedente de su conocimiento del propóleo, para promover su consumo por las propiedades medicinales que contiene.

Abstract
As is well known, the whole world is in a serious situation due to the pandemic generated by COVID-19. There is a need to look for new prevention alternatives, such as propolis, a substance manufactured by bees, which could be very efficient, as it is a natural product. Some contraindications are known for its compound, which could be somewhat harmful for pregnant women or children under two years of age, according to research carried out by scientists and universities. A survey was carried out among parents of the Unidad Educativa Agronómico Salesiano. The survey was carried out in order to have a background of their knowledge of propolis, to promote its consumption due to the medicinal properties it contains.
