El cómic y su expresión en estudiantes de secundaria
Comics and their Expression in Secondary School Students

Resumen
Desde temprana edad he descubierto mi pasión por el arte, aprendiendo a expresar a través de él mis emociones, admiraciones y pensamientos. Tal como señalan diversos autores, el arte constituye una manifestación esencial del ser humano, un lenguaje universal que trasciende las palabras. Por esta razón, me he involucrado en diversas de sus expresiones, entre ellas la poesía, la pintura, la música, el cine, el dibujo y la escultura, cada una de las cuales me ha brindado nuevas formas de comprender y comunicar el mundo que me rodea. En el presente trabajo utilizo el cómic como medio de expresión artística en estudiantes de educación secundaria. Al adentrarme en este género, he comprendido que constituye una herramienta valiosa para transmitir ideas mediante una narrativa creativa e inmersiva. En este caso, elaboré un cómic basado en la biografía de Sara Vanegas Coveña, destacada poetisa cuencana. A lo largo de mi trayectoria estudiantil, la práctica del arte ha contribuido significativamente a mi desarrollo personal. Asimismo, reconozco el apoyo de mis docentes como un pilar fundamental en el fortalecimiento de mis capacidades y en el impulso de mis aspiraciones.

Abstract
From an early age, I have discovered my passion for art, learning to express my emotions, admirations, and thoughts through it. As various authors point out, art constitutes an essential human manifestation, a universal language that transcends words. For this reason, I have engaged in various forms of artistic expression, including poetry, painting, music, film, drawing, and sculpture—each of which has provided me with new ways to understand and communicate the world around me. In this work, I use comics as a medium for artistic expression in secondary school students. Upon exploring this genre, I have come to understand that it constitutes a valuable tool for transmitting ideas through creative and immersive narratives. In this case, I created a comic based on the biography of Sara Vanegas Coveña, a prominent poet from Cuenca. Throughout my student journey, the practice of art has significantly contributed to my personal development. Furthermore, I recognize the support of my teachers as a fundamental pillar in strengthening my skills and driving my aspirations.
