Retrospectiva investigativa acerca de los efectos positivos en nuestro cerebro al jugar en todas las edades
Retrospective research on the positive effects on our brain when playing at all ages

Resumen
El siguiente estudio trata de entender el uso de la capacidad neuronal en el momento en que una persona se involucra en juegos recreativos y dar a conocer estos fundamentos a la población ecuatoriana; de manera que se observen los beneficios en nuestra neuroplasticidad cuando se expone a estas actividades. Esta investigación es justificada mediante la recopilación de datos que se han hecho entre diferentes artículos científicos, los cuales, dentro de sus medios, buscan explicar la ciencia de jugar y cómo esta es un factor presente dentro de la historia humana. En el momento de exponer a niños a actividades que consideren lúdicas ellos mejorarán su capacidad cognitiva y sus habilidades motoras; esto debido a que el factor de familiaridad de tener un historial amplio de jugar está presente: ellos relacionan los aprendizajes provenientes de las actividades con sus propias emociones. Si bien estos son conocimientos apoyados por la ciencia, muy poco se infiere en el efecto de jugar en la personalidad del adulto promedio. Debemos reconocer que jugar no es algo exclusivo para las edades jóvenes, sino que trae grandes beneficios para las edades adultas.
El factor de familiaridad es igual de aplicable para esas edades y se puede observar en distintos juegos como el ajedrez, cartas e incluso deportes. La forma en cómo los adultos relacionan las actividades como positivas es debido a la competitividad que puedan generar. Cuanto más se estimulan nuestras capacidades al adentrarnos en estos ámbitos, nuestra capacidad de recibir información y nuestra resiliencia emocional mejorará considerablemente.

Abstract
The following study seeks to understand the use of neuronal capacity when a person engages in recreational games and to make these fundamentals known to the Ecuadorian population; so that the benefits in our neuroplasticity when exposed to these activities can be observed. This research is justified through the compilation of data that has been made among different scientific articles, which, within their means, seek to explain the science of playing and how this is a factor present in human history. When children are exposed to activities that they consider playful they will improve their cognitive capacity and motor skills, because the familiarity factor of having a long history of play is present: they relate the learning from the activities to their own emotions. While this is knowledge supported by science, very little is inferred about the effect of play on the average adult’s personality. We must recognise that play is not exclusive to the young ages, but brings great benefits to the adult ages.
The familiarity factor is equally applicable for these ages and can be observed in different games such as chess, cards and even sports. The way adults relate to activities as positive is because of the competitiveness they can generate. The more our capacities are stimulated by engaging in these areas, the more our capacity to receive information and our emotional resilience will improve considerably.
