Qué tan importante es la educación sexual en los adolescentes
How important is sex education for adolescents

Resumen
Este artículo trata sobre la importancia de romper el tabú que existe en la sociedad respecto a hablar de sexualidad con niños y adolescentes, con este fin se señalan las medidas que se deberían tomar para resolver esta problemática y lo importante que es el rol de los colegios y los adultos en la formación sexual de los adolescentes. Se expone una tabla estadística a través de la cual se visualizan las medidas que se han tomado para combatir las consecuencias de las malas prácticas sexuales y sus resultados. Se hace hincapié en el tipo y calidad de información que están recibiendo los jóvenes y las consecuencias que pueden traer las malas prácticas sexuales debido a la desinformación y la carencia de conocimientos de cómo cuidarse a sí mismo y a su cuerpo. El objetivo principal de esta investigación es concienciar a la sociedad sobre la importancia que tiene la educación sexual en los adolescentes como prevención de futuros problemas y protección de la salud, para que de esta manera se tome en consideración la implementación de charlas en los centros educativos con temas más específicos y no tan generales.

Abstract
This article deals with the importance of breaking the taboo that exists in society with regard to talking about sexuality with children and adolescents. To this end, the measures that should be taken to solve this problem and the important role of schools and adults in the sexual education of adolescents are pointed out. A statistical table is presented to visualise the measures that have been taken to combat the consequences of sexual misconduct and their results. Emphasis is placed on the type and quality of information that young people are receiving and the consequences that can result from sexual misconduct due to misinformation and lack of knowledge of how to take care of themselves and their bodies. The main objective of this research is to make society aware of the importance of sex education for adolescents as a means of preventing future problems and protecting their health, so that in this way the implementation of talks in educational centres with more specific and less general topics can be taken into consideration.
