Autor: Pablo Eduardo Armijos Espinosa (Unidad Educativa Pasos.)

Abstract
The objective of this research is to explain the importance of empowering talents and skills in young people to promote their personal and professional development. A different educational system to the one that currently exists in Ecuador will be presented in order to demonstrate its advantages and benefits and thus determine its validity. The writing of this article began with an analysis of the needs of the student community and the presentation of the author’s opinion on the subject of education; then we proceeded to research in different sources on how to solve the needs raised. An exploration of the characteristics of the models found and how they have performed in other countries was carried out. In addition, the research was again examined, but this time applied to the reality of Ecuador. To finalise this process, coherence was checked to start the drafting process. When the text was finished, several revisions were made in which information was added and replaced in order to provide the necessary support and to ensure that what was proposed had synergy, order and consistency. The text mentions that people should prioritise their skills over their weaknesses, focusing on enhancing them so that they become strengths. It was also indicated that more than one educational model could be used in Ecuador, so that educational institutions could use what is closest to their methodological ideology.
