Yemen y la ayuda humanitaria

Resumen
En el siguiente ensayo se presentará una revisión del apoyo y asistencia humanitaria vigentes para una de las peores crisis en el mundo y el auxilio brindado a Yemen que cuenta con casi el 80 % de la población indefensa debido a la guerra civil que afronta aquel país en la actualidad.
Sus conflictos echan sus raíces en el pasado y se remontan a inicios del nuevo siglo, además, a esta historia se suman conflictos armados, secesionismo y la presencia de grupos salafistas de corte yihadista y otras organizaciones no estatales.
Como objetivo es concienciar acerca de la importancia que las potencias o aquellos países con mayores ingresos y recursos, brinden ayuda a naciones pobres dando ejemplo del significado de la asistencia humanitaria mediante la protección y albergue, salvando así la vida de muchas personas desamparadas que han sido desplazadas en busca de refugio y apoyo.

Abstract
The following essay will present a review of current humanitarian support and assistance for one of the worst crises in the world and the aid provided to Yemen, where almost 80 % of the population is defenceless due to the civil war that the country is currently facing.
Its conflicts are rooted in the past and date back to the beginning of the new century, in addition to armed conflicts, secessionism and the presence of jihadist Salafist groups and other non-state organisations.
The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of powers or countries with greater income and resources providing aid to poor nations, setting an example of the meaning of humanitarian assistance through protection and shelter, thus saving the lives of many helpless people who have been displaced in search of refuge and support.
