Qué dura prueba
Such a hard test
Abstract
This document reflects my personal experience during the global health emergency of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through these lines, I try to capture how my life changed when my world shrank to the confines of home. I could no longer go out, see my classmates, or visit extended family – all the people I had always interacted with regularly. This sudden isolation, combined with the anxiety of watching events unfold in my city, country, and across the world, undoubtedly left its mark on me.
Through this challenging time, I’ve learned to live closely with my immediate family: my dad, mom, and Bianca. They have been, are, and always will be my entire world – my beautiful family who supports me through good times and bad, and who gives me strength to face these difficult moments, these hard tests of our resilience.
Keywords: connectivity, quarantine, virtual education, new reality, pandemic, telework.
