Efecto cuarentena
The Quarantine Effect

Resumen
La situación actual del país sumada a la crisis económica y a la falta de preparación de la sociedad en general provocan graves escenarios en todos los campos de la vida y uno de los más afectados es el académico, con un perjuicio significativo para los estudiantes, lo que a la postre desencadena más dificultades. Para afirmar esto analizaremos la situación actual del país y a su población basándonos en la información proporcionada por investigadores y en los periódicos que representan al pueblo; tendremos en cuenta también las causas y efectos más relevantes de esta transición y algunos consejos para ponerlos en práctica con la finalidad de que esta difícil situación sea más fácil de sobrellevar por parte de padres, niños, niñas y jóvenes que atraviesan esto. Dicha investigación nos conduce a la realidad en la que nos encontramos viviendo la gran mayoría de las familias en el Ecuador y en el mundo.

Abstract
The country’s current situation, compounded by economic crisis and society’s general lack of preparedness, has created severe challenges across all aspects of life – with the academic sector being particularly hard-hit. Students face significant setbacks that ultimately lead to further difficulties. Our analysis examines the nation’s current conditions and their impact on the population, drawing on research data and representative media reports. We identify key causes and effects of this transition while offering practical recommendations to help parents, children, and youth better cope with these challenges. This investigation reveals the stark reality now confronting most Ecuadorian families, mirroring global experiences during this unprecedented time.
